HabibiMail
A homemade card shop rooted in collective liberation and healing through old fashioned snail mail.
Welcome! We are so grateful to you for visiting our site. You may notice that our card order process is looking a bit different these days and you're right, we got a makeover! We invite you to check out our current work or make a custom order with our online order form.

Who We Are
Established in 2016, HabibiMail is a card company that's changing the greeting card market as we know it to become a platform for community care and activism. We are disabled, queer, and operating on stolen Massachusett land, also known as Cambridge, MA.
Our shop's name “habibi” is the gender neutral Arabic word meaning “dear one” or “beloved.” For our purpose, the word is used in honor of our creator’s Sitto ( the Lebanese word for grandmother). Simultaneously, our shop's name is an ode to the necessity of "beloved community", a concept popularized by Reverend Martin Luther King Jr, which names justice and collective liberation as the heart of community.
We use the word “habibi” to emphasize the power of sharing deep gratitude and affirmation. By sending HabibiMail cards, we aim to actively encourage our communities to celebrate our worth and connection, fuel our activism, and repair the harm of white supremacy. We know these are big hopes and we are learning to do better along side you.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for visiting our site!
Our Cards
Put a card in someone's mailbox today.
If you've been with us from the beginning, you'll know that we used to hand draw each card. As our business has expanded, we have upgraded to offering beautifully copied prints from our original art. This way, we can share more Habibimail with the world.

Card Sets (4 cards)
Card sets are a perfect way to connect with community. Each theme has a story behind it and we are constantly being inspired to add more.
Each set contain 4 cards with similar themes and colors. They are inspired from real conversations with loves ones. We hope to capture sentiments that can't be found from cards in stores.

$ Redistribution and Solidarity
Redistribution is a movement to re-balance access to wealth (and lands). Different from donation or what is commonly considered as "charity", money redistribution shifts us from the framework of "I help them because I have more" to "a world that thrives off inequity, capitalism, and white supremacy is harmful to us all".
As a shop benefitting from generational access to wealth (built from stolen land and stolen labor), we have a role in redistributing funds back to local Indigenous Peoples, Black people, and other people of color lead organizations. working to repair the harms of white supremacy.
5% of profits from each card will be redistributed to local organizations dedicated to liberation, as well as the Massachusset tribe, whose stolen land we are guests on. As we grow, we hope to grow the money we move.

Lettering - Hand Stamped with Love
Lettering is the extra touch every card needs. Whether you choose lettering that is custom to your order or selected from our card sets, we will hand stamp your selected message to the front and/or inside of your card. While we copy our cards, we hand stamp each message for each order.
Pricing and Shipping
No matter the design, our cards come in 1 standard 4x4.5 size with an envelope.
